Leg day, done! 6am 😅 I’m a mom of 2 so I gotta get it done before everyone gets up.
Full warmup including plank holds and side planks with legs lifts, reverse nordics, reverse step town with heel taps, 30lb kettle bell swings.
Barbell back squats, progressive overload - warmup with the bar 15x
10x 80lbs
8x 95lbs
2 sets of 6 at 115lbs.
3 sets Bulgarian split squats, alternated with eccentric barbell RDLs at 95lbs. Followed by kneeling anti rotational exercises for internal and external rotation (I’m dealing with weakness in my hips - it’s a whole thing).
I work with a CSCS so my form is on point or I probably wouldn’t keep up with weightlifting at all, let alone get out of bed. Keeps me accountable!

Trying out a new Peloton app focused on strength training. You can filter by goal, the equipment you have, and what muscle groups you’d like to workout. Then it gives you a workout plan and you can work at your own pace and to your own music. Kinda like it so far. 😄
