Hi ,I have been interviewed and selected in S&P Global .salary almost negotiated and waiting for the offer letter to release. But seems like they are not willing to release the offer because of my 90 np . They are asking to join by 60 days but initially I told them my NP is 90. Even I am ready to take the 60 days offer but now they are not releasing offer as they want assurance. Now they are not picking calls.seems like i will loose the offer. Is there anything can be done.
Hi folks, how is thoughtworks as an organisation?
Asking because I don't know much about it and have received recruiter's call today. Currently I am working in Deloitte. How is thoughtworks hikes, wlb, does it provide any benefits apart from fixed pay? My research gives me a mixed review: some say it's good, some say that thoughtworks is not stable enough like big 4 or other organisations. Pls help Thoughtworks Deloitte

I left a job at $132k to join a Big4 about 18mo ago. Most hellish 18mo of my life. BUT. I'm always in demand for interviews, no one ever questions my experience, and I've gotten my pick of job offers as I've looked to exit. Finally chose a company that may not be as flashy as consulting, but it pays $180k. I could not have negotiated a $50k salary bump in such a short period of time if not for my time at a Big4.
Never again though.
Woops, I think my reply accidentally posted to the wrong bowl! (I'd started a reply to this thread earlier and went to reply to another - I think it took me to the draft for this one instead of the other one.) Sorry if my response made very little sense!
To hopefully tie the two together in a more sensible manner - I have about 8 YOE in my field. I worked as a Sr Product Manager at a financial firm in marketing automation when I took the job at the Big4. I did have a hard time finding a job that would get me to $150k when I left my previous product management position, which was my initial target - I was surprised when it was so much easier to negotiate higher once I began looking again. I'm back to basically a Sr Product Manager role, except now it's a Product Owner role, and I'm managing a team.
Yes
No
Geo? The role is technically based in dallas but I live in austin / work remote if that helps
Decent base salary
Yes
Any bonus, stock or benefits? Or is this the TC?
I would start with competitive analysis and mention similar positions in the area that are getting paid more and show them how comparable those salaries are w.r.t your offered position's salary. Also, if they're hesitant about making an increase on base pay, then explore the possibility of getting a one-time bonus at least, so you're getting something for the first year. For next year you can aim to have an increment based on your performance
I think it’s fair in this market. I have 10 years of overall experience and I’m right around $200k total comp working remotely.
Yep but my time in product is five years, all ten at the same company. My base is $180k
