Dear fishes, After working in Autosar(CAN/FR/OS) configuration for 4 years, I wanted to switch domain to device drivers. So I bought a STM board. Joined some udemy courses. Learnt SPI/I2C/NVIC/exception handling and FREERTOS/OS. Now I want to apply to companies like Nvidia Texas Instruments Qualcomm NXP Without any prior experience I am a bit nervous as people say the interviews would be very difficult in these.

Try to think about it in a different mindset. See it as a good sign. While the usual interview would take 30 to 45 minutes, yours took 2 hours. It could mean that they are really considering you for the job since they're investing their time to get to know you.
i don't see the point in this. Like after 30 minutes if you can't tell if I'm good for the job then what are we doing. here?
2 hours is just the average. As you can see, we have other friends here who went through an interview longer than you did. But honestly, 2 hours is really long.
2 hours? I'll be drained after 1 hour. I'm okay with 3-4 rounds of interviews, not with 2 hours straight interview.
Try 6 hours …. I world have loved it if it were only 2 hours…
I did, but after the 4th hour I started asking myself if it was worth it. It was but good grief talk about stressful.
I once had to attend two additional screenings after my first interview, which lasted almost an hour. In the end, they gave me an offer that was way below my asking price.
2 hours? I recently had an interview that was 4 hours long. There's no was that isn't against some law
Wow. That's two hours' worth of anxiety. I had a previous interview, and we pretty much tackled everything in 30 minutes.
How can interviewers not run out of questions to ask? That's insane. Oh, the mental torment this would give me.
Tell me about he asked me so many questions including location of clauses in design code
Was it your first or second interview? I would totally understand if it's your second because they usually take longer than the first.
First interview with the hiring managers. Second in total
I could only imagine myself being interviewed for two hours straight. I would require an entire week of rest to get over that much anxiety.
I started at 1pm finished little bit over 3pm after that I was out of energy they spend extra 30 minutes to ask more questions
Actually 2 hours is quite short. I've been to one that was 5 hours long. I was so tired by the end of it/
5 hours for an entry-level job or for a manager position
