Hi Fishes, I grabbed an offer at Accenture with 12 LPA fixed for Level 9. I'm not getting a retention offer from my current company at 13.5 lpa. How do I go about a counter offer with Accenture HR? Also tell me how to approach this situation smoothly.

Hey Sharks, I joined in verizon india last april, i got moved to new project at july end. I have 2.5 years of experience in java,springboot, Micrservices architecture. But in my new team deployed in a support project. Feeling depressed and frustrated. asked manager 2 times to change my responsibility. But he's accepting in call but not doing what he is promised. Please suggest what can i do here. Does droppeing paper is a good solution? Please suggest. Thanks in advance.Verizon

200k in HCOL is below average. many people in LCOL clearing $150k at 3 YOE in finance IB type roles or MBB
Not with 5 yoe. Sounds like you are at a corp that inflates director titles (looking at you American Express)
Normally a director would typically be 8-10 years of experience on the low end at most corps.
Yea this. Our F100 directors have like 15-20 YOE at least and usually make 225-300.
You are underpaid for the title but not for your experience if you are 5 years post UG. For big corp strategy director title I would expect the person to have MBA plus MBB or tier 2 consulting experience at manager level. With all that I would say 250k to 300k plus all in.

Reports to managing director, senior director, executive director and vice vice director.
Some companies use director in place of manager. Doubt he’s actually managing a team with 5 YOE and no industry experience
