Fishes, Anyone aware of the relocation assistance provided by Wells Fargo . Is that provided as as whole or only after submitting the required bills and docs.
Asking because Deloitte credited 40k relocation assistance without any bills even though it was mentioned in the offer that bills were necessary.

Worthless unless they credit the PTO towards billable reqs.
That’s awesome. Then take as much as you can get away with!
I haven't personally experienced it, but there are a ton of news articles about this online. From what I've seen, the consensus is that employees take less vacation on unlimited PTO than when they are given a certain number of days.
If you can, talk to your HR or managing partner to learn what the average number of vacation days used by employees is. Stick to something around that.
I work for a small firm that does not have a set number of PTO days. It has been a negative for me because my partner is under the impression I take “too many” days off, though I don’t believe it’s more than other associates. He is also the one who approves my PTO so every time I ask, he gives me grief about it. We have an old school culture here where we’re expected in office every day. I believe our firm’s culture is the main reason I don’t like having unlimited PTO here.
I have unlimited PTO (product liability defense, national, mid size firm). I try and go on mini vacations at least every 6 weeks and usually take 2 (sometimes 3) bigger international holidays as well. Sometimes the support staff will comment on my vacation habits but the partners always respond with "her billables speak for themselves, we don't care"
