Any tips on how to start and prepare my MBA Application? I don’t plan on applying till 2022 as I want to attend in 2023. What are things I can do to prepare now in order to have a strong application? Background: I’m aiming for HSW, M7, and top 15. I’m currently a Staff at EY within Business Consulting. I graduated from a Top 25 Business Undergrad - majoring in Finance and minor in Advertising with a 3.71 GPA. I want to pivot towards PM or Corporate Strategy in Tech, at Toyota, or Nike. TIA!

For M7, I think breaking 700 would be fine. HSW...I think you should be aiming 740+
I would say 730 or higher unless you have a remarkable story. Coming from Accenture will be harder for you to get into HSW. (I say this as someone from a T2 firm at HSW.)
I don’t think it does, sadly. I think it’s basically MBB vs all in most cases, with MBB getting a bit of a boost in their applications, all else equal. The exception might be if you have a very special niche and bill yourself as being from / wanting to go into that industry vs. just being another consultant applicant

Just do your best. Definitely aim for 700 plus as that is the round number. Obviously the higher the better. If you get a 700 quickly, then know your ceiling is higher so keep working
730+
700+
650 if you reallyyyyy have a solid background + story, otherwise it must be 700+
800

I’d argue dont listen to A2 and just try your best and make sure you have a good story. Apply r1 if you are worried
