Mindset (Carol Dweck)

Have the dead tree version. Will hold this as an option if three "better" recommendations don't emerge.

The hard thing about hard things
4000 weeks
Cold start problem
How will you measure your life
I can probably name more if you tell which area you are interested in.

Business stories (think Bad Blood or Barbarians At The Gate), personal/professional growth (Building a Second Brain, Mindset), concepts/ideas/tools explained well (The Phoenix Project) - all areas of interest.

I Hear You - quick listen but lots of good advice
American Icon - great business story about Ford
Obstacle Is The Way - great listen on stoic philosophy

Obstacle Is The Way and Meditations by Marcus Aurelius are both already purchased.

Soooo how are we feeling about booking flights to Europe for early spring? Less so worried about getting covid as I’m boosted but more so about worsening restrictions. I’m looking at countries that have already announced they aren’t changing restrictions BUT the flights have layovers in countries that are (ie UK, France, Germany). Also wondering when to book as prices for those flights seem to be skyrocketing.

Stupid question but getting a divorce now and having a hard time figuring out what to do with sentimental things such as wedding pictures, travel pics, ornaments we bought together, etc. What did you do? Relationship was over 12 years and don’t know what to do. Should I jus pretend that those 12 years never happened or she was not there?

Divorce is amicable and based on growing apart rather than bc of cheating or fighting or anything else..

I have a young student with CVI and extremely limited mobility. She is able to vocalize but not speak. However, I’ve seen her response and mannerisms change (positively) in the presence of parents and siblings which leads me to believe that she is cognizant enough to possible use a communication device. However, I don’t even know where to start with researching the best one for her. Any suggestions?
