I was informed today that my employment would be terminated at a tier-2 consulting firm in Toronto. What is considered a “large” caseload in employment litigation? I work at a large L&E boutique law firm and handling about 14-15 active litigation cases in state/federal court or arbitration. Some of these matters are multi-plaintiff and multi-defendant cases, but none are class actions. This does not include any matters I am handling in the charge stage or in pre-litigation. Not sure if that’s a typical caseload or not?

I have the most terrible coping mechanisms in that I binge eat/mindlessly scroll through social media. It’s hard to break this cycle but I’m hoping to replace these with healthier/less harmful coping mechanisms. What works for you when you’re stressed?
