Maybe someone keeps calling or tracking her down? Unpaid debt? We'll never know unless she calls you again, then maybe she'll slip up and say something. You mentioned she sounds so stressed so whatever it was, it doesn't look good.
Aw, that's kind of alarming. Maybe she's in some kind of domestic violence trouble or scamming situation. I would try to needle her a bit to find out what's really going on. Good luck!
Super weird behavior. Why does she still want her number attached to her account anyway? Or are you working at a phone company? I would probably talk to your GM about establishing some kind of rule on how often you can change numbers.. this sounds like an unfair burden on the employees to have to deal with everyday
That’s where probing questions come in “hey just so I can code this correctly, what was the reason for the number change” usually works for me,
Why not ask her? Could be misinformed, maybe she thinks she can't block out her own number when she calls someone?
