A question to European McKinsey people, or those who know them: can you give an honest assessment of your work life balance, and how the company manages it? There is so much noise from North America that it is hard to build a picture of life on our continent.

MY WLB sucks

So much workload here.. working almost 12-16hrs a day.. planing to leave..

I recently found out that I was being paid less than everyone in the team (more than 25% gap to more expe teammates, around 15% less than new hires)
We all had the same responsibilities, I consider I even had a heavier workload (talking in past tense since I very recently made an internal move).
Things to consider:
On a work visa
Non-white
Non-male
What would you recommend doing?
Keeping it to myself?
Speaking up? How? With who?

Rubrik tech stack - Python Microservices, Postgres backend and Angular fronend.(The tech stack I have never worked with)

I’ve been working for a small investment firm for about a year and am having some issues with my boss. We have a weekly check-in but he’s ALWAYS 2-3 hours late, or skips the meeting altogether without warning. He also never replies to any of the emails I send. Switching from commission to salary!

I signed for a new job two months ago and will start next month (3 mo notice period in Europe). They were very keen on getting me on-board ASAP before signing but since I signed the contract it has been silent from the new employee. I've emailed them with questions as I'll be re-locating to NL and it takes them 1-2 weeks to reply. Given all that's going on in the world, I'm worried they might fire me before I even start.
