how long should a resume really be?
Anyone seen a copy of the bill yet?
Hey guys. I have been applying to Amex for the past 1 year. Tried applying on the portal, through referrals and even hr consultants reached me regarding the roles since I have a relevant profile. But not once have I been shortlisted or called for an interview. What could be the problem?
PS: I have gotten calls from every other company for the same profile but not amex. Can't be a problem with the profile. Seems something dicey which I'm not aware of.American Express

I would say first to wait and see how you like the position before making any rash decisions. It seems like you made great memories at your old job, but you can make just as many connections and memories at your new one!
It also sounds like this new job is an exciting new jump from a professional standpoint - a raise and a new title is really great. At the end of the day it sounds like you went out of your comfort zone, and while it may feel uncomfortable to leave what and who you know, you made a great choice for your personal growth. Keep in mind being loyal to a company doesn’t always mean the company would always be 100% loyal to you in return, so it sounds like you made a good choice by doing what is best for you.
Finally, keep in touch with the people you care about. I still talk to a lot of coworkers and old bosses to this day and hang out with them socially. If god forbid you start your new position and hate it, reach out and maybe they will take you back… but don’t give up on this new role before you start! Give it a chance and go from there!
