Wellness - vitamins and holistic stuff. Basically a faith based business.
Healthcare - can include otc and rx. But usually just otc. Science but lighter. Most of the money spent on consumer side.
Pharma - rx only. Most of the money spent on healthcare professional promotion but for the brands that have consumer work too , can be almost equal revenue to be made n both sides. Big money in consumer media -often over 100 million but he’s y regulatory and science compared to general healthcare.
While Havas is correct, many Pharma agencies bill themselves as wellness and healthcare agencies.
Beware the health and wellness nameplate. Most shops that say they’re about health and wellness are really 90% Pharma with only one or two OTC pieces of business. If that. Started years ago when people questioned why they couldn’t do more traditional consumer work out of a pharma shop and call it “wellness.”
It’s all generally same thing. Depends on how your agency spins it.
