@a10 let's do it, cheers working long hours and getting bent over at the same time
Well I would say ppl in CDO can do CM work we just get billed at a cheaper rate. Look at it this way we're if CDO is natty lite and CM is blue moon yes one taste and looks better but at the end of the day we'll both get you drunk.
I've never heard of anybody getting in the 50s at acn. That's absurd 😳
Did you join in 2014?
I started out of college at 75K. I made Consultant this past round of review and am now sitting at 94K. Based in Houston.
@acn7, yeah in 2014
@OP yikes, you're making less as a consultant than first year analysts right now. I'd talk to your CC or look to jump to another firm to get that pay bump. You should at least be at the 100K mark right now
No way Houston is that much more expensive than Charlotte. I am a consultant and am at 85k. But I'm also in the reject arm of Accenture, CDO.
Ugh idk if cc will be able to help :(
I'm sitting at 85k and just got promoted this past year to consultant based in Chicago. I too am part of the reject arm
I would say anywhere Btwn 90 and 100 is legit. 82 is slightly low.
$75k out of college in ATL... idk what the promotion would have looked like, I left acn before I got that far in.
First year C should be at $94k - $97k. Only applies to C&M. CDO has different brackets.
@a5 do you know the brackets for cdo?
Unfortunately, I do not. But I'm sure asking fellow FB folks should give you a good idea of what they are at.
I think the CDO could be very tool/demand dependent. I know some workforce senior analyst experience hires at 75k. I joined as a consultant (BI/visualization) at 100k + OT.
@A5, first year consultant here making 100k+
@a14 DC
@D2 Lack of transferable skills. No one else will hire me. My life is doomed. :(
How is the work different in CD&O? I am in C&M (MC) but have worked with a couple of CD&O people on SAP projects, but seems like they are definitely gaining transferable skills - Project Management, Process design etc?
@D2 I've been looking to leave, want to refer me to uncle d? @a2 there is no difference on my project, cm and cdo all do the same work except some of us got screwed when the initial move was made. The md I report to is cm but the md she reports to is cdo, neither can explain the difference in work
Typically (at least in my practice area) we see CDO treated more like staff aug vs true advisory / consulting. CDO tends to be longer term implementation focused for a single client, C&M is more focused on upfront biz and IT architecture / strategy.
