Try startups. They’ll be more lenient with your lack of tactical HR experience. Kearney had an HR advisor or assistant role open. If you still see it, DM me and we can see about a referral.

No current openings at my company, but I agree with SC1. Try smaller firms (<250 headcount), where you will have more opportunity to work across multiple HR functions due to business necessity. Then you can use that experience to jump into a larger firm, or a HRBP/manager position.

Will message you now!

Where are you located?

Wouldn’t mind junior HR generalist positions! I’ll take any start :)

Hi Guys, I need some help. I had joined kpmg global services recently (7 months) back from one of the IT services companies in an advisory role however now I have received an offer from HCL with 40% hike to my current CTC. What should I do. I have heard that KGS gives decent hikes and bonus payouts however the work is completely backend with limited customer interaction and limited good quality. Can someone throw some light on HCL as well, what is good and what is bad and which to choose

Health question: Does anyone else suffer from nerve pain in their butt/hips from sitting all day? My research tells me it’s piriformis pain. It means my sit bones are irritating my butt muscle, which irritates my sciatic nerve. It can be excruciating and hurt even when I stand.
