Curious to hear everyone’s perspectives on if they regret turning down an M7 MBA, to continue on in their careers. It’s pretty stylish now to forego them (especially in tech and investing), but I’ve seen stories of career stagnation without them.

I’m fairly exhausted and would love the break, but at the same time I really don’t want to give up my investing seat - the idea of needing to re-recruit and not necessarily landing at a better fund scares me. The $1M opportunity cost also doesn’t help

I’m just about done with my MBA (down to my last 2) and I worry about getting low balled because I lack management experience. I am a registered respiratory therapist of just about 20 years and now I work as a clinical liaison for a LTACH. I was a RT charge/team lead while still on the floor but never had any experience with financial management. That concerns me. I don’t know how best to transition into operations management without having to take a severe pay cut. Any suggestions?
