Hi, I've been offered a job at ZS associates in one of their European locations. The role is at the mid-manager level.
I hope to gain insight from ZS Associates fishes on ZS culture and WLB in their European offices.
What's the WLB like if you are based in Europe? What's a typical work week like, regarding the number of hours?
Any other Pros and Cons?
I am currently doing a 9 to 5 at Ferring. At times extra hours are necessary, but it is not the norm.
Why is our leadership team so unresponsive?

AD is the right role at your tenure for big pharma. For MBB, D is generally for manager-level roles (2-4 YoE) with more of that coming closer to the 3 yr mark than 2.
Main exception for D offers below that I’ve seen is when you’ve worked with the client and they know the quality of your work. Left MBB at 2 yr mark; I can speak to both of the above from personal exp and the exits I’ve seen.
As far as comp goes - you should be angling for 250-275 coming from BCG at the AD level. Personally think you should stay until PL and leave at Director. If not I’d expect it to take 1.5-2 yr on average to make it from AD
I’m not including sign on and yes my comp is same as d1
I’ve looked into this pretty well. Even most people who make PL and leave before the end of PL1 exit at AD level.
AD is higher than Senior Manager and you will have a difficult time convincing them to make you a Director.
You can DM me for specific details, as there is firm proprietary info and connects who could help you land a role.
If you can get an AD role with <2yr of experience, and if you want to stay in industry at least for a while, take it!

Getting a D role in industry is challenging if you have < 5 YOe. Take the AD role
I’m actually also looking at available roles at AbbVie if anybody has recruiter information they wouldn’t mind sharing.
Thank you all for the amazing responses! Additional context clarification on YoE:
I have previous work experience and a top tier MBA pre my BCG Consultant role so in total >5yoe as mentioned in a comment above
Unlike tech your total YoE are less relevant than the current role you have at BCG. If you take YoE into account there will be ADs with more experience than that (ie not much of a differentiator)

What kind of role are you looking for?
What part of AbbVie are you trying to exit to? Depending on what part of the company you are aiming for, the comp can, of course, vary drastically
