Tell job B right away that you received an offer and need to hear from them asap. This way, they can give you an offer more quickly and give you time to decide.

I don’t think anyone realistically expects you to accept a job on the spot. It’s totally within your right to say something like, “thank you so much; I look forward to reviewing xyz information [they usually send over details on employee benefits, time off policy, etc] and will come back to you with an answer”…make up some story about how you’re traveling for the holiday weekend so ask if you could get back to them by Tuesday and see what they say

In addition to this, I would be candid with Job A. Say you are really excited by the opportunity, but are wrapping up another interview process and want to be fair to that company and yourself. They make ask if you’re leaning towards the other opportunity, in which case I would say no, just that you want to see it through :)
Also, speaking from personal experience, any job that I was pressured for an answer on that spot that I took… was not a culture that fit my values or work style as promised
I was recently on the same boat, 3 of the offers i was expecting was a week/3 days apart, I told the first company when they offered that, I am on final phase of interviews and would really appreciate, if I can have 10-15 days to get back to them, they happily revised the offer letter with a date to respond in 2 weeks time. Just be honest and give them a date when you will get back to them. Congratulations.
Update: got the verbal offer almost 3 hours ago but haven’t received the formal letter yet via email….. sketchy? Or no?
Whew okay cool. My last job search was nothing like this so I don’t have a frame of reference. Was scared I said something wrong 🫠
