After maternity medical leave, I requested a 3 month WFH accommodation with two doctors notes for support. HR denied it and only allowed a two week WFH, or to separate me if I don’t take the two week WFH. It put my health at risk but I don’t have option. I cleared technical round and during final call with HR, my salary expectations were higher as per HR.

My current CTC is 9lpa, skill-IAM and Java, YOE-3. I asked for 14lpa, best they could give was 11lpa. I know I asked a lot.

I was recently offered a Zoom interview. The school had 10 interview slots for me to choose from. Three were one day this week and the rest are next week. I chose the first time slot available. I’m only in my 1st trimester now but will be starting a new job in October (4 months before my due date) and am nervous about not being able to be at my best

I just started a new job 2 months ago, benefits and PTO don’t start until 90 days in so I still have a month before I can take off any time, and today found out my company doesn’t offer paid maternity leave.
I’m really struggling handling the symptoms and maintaining my full time job. Thinking about looking for a part time job to have more time to myself through the pregnancy since I won’t be getting a paid leave anyways, but lost on where to start looking. Any recommendations?
