You have been trying to get a job in industry for 4 years with no good leads?
If so where do you live? Montana?
Take manager then leave you'd be an idiot to not take the title bump which in industry = pay bump
EY manager must be a joke. Drowning as manager here.
Leave at Manager.
Leave at manager, don't lowball yourself to accept anything less
Leave at SA when you're close to M, you go to new place as SA or M equivalent at best. Leave at M you get a better leverage to SM. Whether you can convince them you're ready that's a another story.
Manager is best level at the firm. Nothing compared to SM responsibilities
Manager was easy. SM is some bull sh*t expectations. Best exit opportunities come as an SM
Partners think otherwise as they keep handing over more and more shit, dick.
I think if you're almost there, you might as well get the title change and then jump. That's if you think you'll get the promo. Start planning for it now!
Md. Why
No i am not in Montana Lol. Been trying to get into fed since college with zero luck. If fed doesn't take me, i have no other ideas. Nothing else interests me
Or maybe you're just not cut out for it P2
Welcome to the job
Fml what to do.....😢
What's your ratings ey2. I want to hear
@OP, what type of fed work? Maybe I can help
@Tech- any kind of fed work. Very open minded..just looking to get in. Located in DC....
MD - do you see significant differences between SM and director in industry? Noticed a lot of companies don't have SM
P2: depending on practice. some Ds flex between a high end M cohort and low end D cohort in other practices hence the pay grades are different too
