He’s McKinsey, he’s probably there to shut it down
How no clothes? Weren’t you wearing something when you landed??
He lost those as well
Happened to me in Italy - call CSR and they’ll tell you what documents to get from the airline.
There’s a standard allowance, so you can buy what you need and get reimbursed accordingly. Allowance varies based on luggage delays or actual lost luggage
The platform CSR uses is pretty terrible, though, but you’ll eventually get reimbursed. Make sure you pursue through the airline as well
Buy clothes?

Call CSR CS. They’ll tell you what and how much can be reimbursed. Also, speak to airline staff and call airline CS to get compensation.
Get one of those shiny down jackets.
Same thing happened to me when I went to China and I was given $100/day budget to spend on clothes until the luggage came. Call the airline.
You can ask Chase too
It’s not great for regular wear, but it’ll hold you over just fine.
I believe the max CSR reimbursement is $2500
Happened to me. Each airline is different, so you will have to read the fine print. I was island hopping for my honeymoon. Hawaiian air said I had a stipend of $85/day. After a week, they still couldn’t find it. I had to report everything line item by line item and get it notarized. They depreciated every item. Lots of things came back as “not in our policy to cover”, so basically my “clothes” counted. For those over $100 I had to prove I had purchased it so lots of credit card statements and justification. Max payout at the time was $2500 for my 1 bag. Because it was for real lost, I did not get the stipend per day they promised. 🙄 moral of story—-if you have to, pack everything in your carry-on, split your clothes in your luggage and your spouse’s in case that happens, and pray if your luggage wasn’t there when you arrived, cross fingers it’s just delayed and took a detoured route. Good luck.
Don’t check baggage
