Has anyone ever interviewed for an entry level role, but were offered a higher level role based on the interviews and experience? If so, what did you do or say? Context in comments.
Are jobs in Transformation (mainly digital trans) desirable? Do they pay well? I’m very confused on what would be a good consulting exit if I don’t want a classic FAANG.
6 YoE in digital marketing, + 2 in business + Master's (not MBA). Not super technical, but I'm a functional subject matter expert (easily top 5% in North America, probably higher) in one DM field. I want to work at MBB and now seems like a really good time to give a try. What level should I aim for? Associate? How much time should I spend practicing cases before applying? Any specific areas to make sure I upskill to check the right box? Any tips on how to make it work?
Currently work at AWS in Business Intelligence and am looking to transfer into Product Management. Looking at MBB eventually. In my experience, most people from MBB have FAANG as their exit op. Why?
Am I naïve to think I can have autonomy in an entry-level position? I'm a year in and I feel like I only supporting other people's projects and not owning any of my own. I'm stuck.
Hola! I will be exiting PwC on 8/1 and I am looking for other job opportunities. What are some companies that you have worked at that have a great culture? Also if you can help and let me know if your company is hiring that would be very helpful!
I’ve got an offer for a job I think is going to be much more interesting than my current role and significant pay bump. Downside is it’s permanent WFH and I think part of why I’ve got the urge to leave DT is the lack of people connection right now. Worth it?
I am interested in PWC' international QS group. They currently have a senior position listed out. I need some advice on applying for that position. Is there anyone currently in that group here?
I see alot of people just show their current role on their LinkedIn. What's the best way/format to write your LinkedIn experience? 1. Show your career progression? (e.g. 2 years consultant, 2 year senior consultant, etc.) 2. Just update your title? (e.g. 4 years senior consultant)
Was laid off by D 2 years ago. Was reached for a position by a recruiter and have final rounds soon. Is this a joke, would they really hire me again? Note I was in Advisory new job is for Consulting.
Looking for advice on the next step. So I started at my company just over 2 years ago as an entry level Sales admin with a split role and at the beginning of this year I moved fully into Sales Support and I'm kind of at a point where I coordinate and support the activity of my team, I fully process all orders and manage/maintain our CRM system, provide monthly & quarterly reports for our senior management team. Is this it? Am I at the top end of this role and need to ask for more progression?

Do the breadth of exit opportunities in industry start to diminish after reaching manager at big four? I have this preconception that leaving as a manager will be harder than as a senior but no idea if true or not.
So I typically don’t answer the EEO questions at the end of applications that ask for race and gender. Lately I’ve noticed companies following up via email for this information after I submit the application. Am I the only one who does this? Does it even matter? Any thoughts on the follow up emails asking for the information after the application has already been submitted?
What do MBA grads do at tech firms? The data on any B-School's website says that consulting pays more than tech to MBA grads, however, going by the threads on this app, it seems as if tech pays more. Does the website data not include RSUs? Or does consulting actually pay more? Thanks a lot for your time and effort!
I’m a partner at a small firm looking to lateral. Many firms that were beyond my reach a year ago are now eager to pick me up. Firms that I should be selling myself to are instead selling their firm to me. (And I am a very confident person; no imposter syndrome here.) Is there some larger diversity push going on? Is it hard for bigger firms to retain female partners? Curious what the market is.
Anyone a black inclusion network lead for D&I?
Have you been seeing any creativity lately around gender inequity, child abuse, LGBTQ, PETA, guns rights, or other cause related marketing? Why not? Because none of them are trending at the moment?
Why does the third party recruiter I am using perform reference checks, and not HR/hiring manager from the firm I am interviewing with? Curious.
