Rule of Thumb, don't post about your new role until you're in the building.
You’ll feel more like a dweeb if the offer gets rescinded for reasons beyond your control, just wait
Yes def can happen
Rising Star
I wouldn’t post until the official start date 🧿
But congrats! Definitely not a dweeb at all you should be proud to post once you’re there :)
This need for immediate likes is going to be your downfall. Never post about a new job until At least 1 or 2 weeks in.
Agree, but laid off twice tells you something! There is wisdom in waiting. Congrats 🎉🎊🎈🍾 again!
I usually wait until the end of the first week in the office. Congratulations.
1. Congrats!
2. Don’t jinx it by posting before you start
“Don’t count your chickens until they’ve hatched.”
A lot can happen in two weeks…
Post on your first day and then in the future LinkedIn will also notify your network of your work anniversary and you’ll get much deserved kudos on accurate day instead of jumping the gun before. Also like others said, god forbid something happen. Doubt it and I’m sure you’ll be fine. Congrats !
Just here to also cast the vote to absolutely positively 100% wait until after you've already actually started the job.
Oh and congrats!
Bad work year? It's only March
Yea
Wait until you start or at least 30 days! Congrats 🎉🍾🎊

Go for it! You earned it.

Wait
I’d wait to make sure the job is a good fit and you intend on staying
Congrats OP! It’s huge to get a new gig. Tell your friends and family but definitely wait until you start for LinkedIn.
Please wait
