I say this with kindness, I think you need to vacuum them out and consider therapy.
Please, touch grass. When you’re finished, then just buy bags straight from the store to get rid of this issue/worry
Bonus! 🤩
You’re overthinking this. Trace residue in a handbag isn’t going to get you flagged or arrested at the airport.
lol honestly no need for therapy when you’ve got ladies who will be brutally honest… after hearing from you all, I stopped worrying about it completely hahah I might actually buy another one. Thanks!
Managing fears and concerns is very tough when you have the jobs we do, hired to be professional worriers. Digging into this in therapy isn’t a bad idea. I happen to be of the view that we all need it, just like annual physicals and regular exercise. I also hear in this someone with an incredible attention to detail that’s also a superpower (assuming it’s not eating you alive) so while the honesty (which all felt very loving and compassionate from my seat), and you’re so brave to ask, I hope you also see your incredible abilities. Take care of you!
Dry clean the bags. Then go get therapy. Let us know how you are doing, we are now invested. Also those must be some cute bags…

No way that could be an issue. Really not enough to cause an alert, but even in a world where it did, worst case they’d search the bag and find nothing. You’re going to be okay.
Omg I’ve had that thought too when looking at used bags online! You’re not alone
Yes, you need therapy. Stated as someone who is also very risk averse and has OCD, among other diagnoses, yes.
Do you know that an estimated 90% of US currency has drug residue on it? Mostly cocaine, but also often meth and fentanyl.
Keep the receipts and travel with them. Worry solved.
