Our nation saw a disheartening surge in covid cases. Amidst these tough and painful times, the doctors, nurses, and hospital staff continue to work day in and day out for our safety, our lives.
Calling you to join hands, as we raise funds to show them a token of gratitude with a small care package.

Hi Infosys guys, I have cleared one technical interview and got email for further round which is planned for tomorrow. Email mentions that this is a telephonic interview, is this supposed to be an HR round discussing salary or another tech round.

…3 week long pitches working through each weekend, stuck in the office until 10-12 am each night, maybe a Tuesday night off, eating cold Dominos pizza every other night that was ordered by a pm, wife text fighting me because I’m never home, and then having to take an uber home, its 12:30 am and the driver wants to talk about politics or god.
Thats how i remember it.
Seconded. This is the most mullen comment on fishbowl. That place took years off my life.
My daughter just got diagnosed with lymphoma and no one wears a mask anywhere. I’m incredibly glad I get to work remote and be home with her throughout her treatment.
Wishing her a speedy recovery.
I went into the office today and had back to back meetings pretty much the whole days. All of them were remote. I literally sat in one of our edit suites the whole day and it could easily have been my living room, minus the 3 hours of travelling. Nice to see a few people and get good coffee though.
Can we keep the stay home all the time crowd off the film sets and out of in-person edits too?

Gladly!

I'm eager to return as well. I think it's healthier to separate my work life from my home life. I've always had a flex schedule at work though so no bad memories.
I do miss the interaction sometimes but remote work has given me career opportunities I would otherwise never have. I live in a more remote area and am grateful that it is being embraced by so many companies.
I would like to return part time. I'm an introvert so initially I was very much in the never-go-back boat. But a few weeks ago I was on a shoot with so many coworkers Ive never met (I was a Covid Hire) and I realized how important in person connection is. Besides my partner, I dont have the opportunity to truly get to know people or connect over zoom. I miss it. When I think about the possibility of never returning to any work environment I get existential about it. That said, even though my office is now voluntary, my partner and some other of my team live in different locations in the US - so I'd still be on zoom all day... dang it.
I’m not excited to go back to the office because that’ll set me back from my savings goal - I’ll have to move to the city, pay for public transpo, etc.
Working from home has been helpful for my craft but it’s been even better for my finances.
Agencies should be covering transit costs and catering lunches if they want us in so bad.
How about just let folks do what works for them. Get you an employer that doesn’t need to babysit you. If you want to go in? Great. If you want to grab dinner with your team once a month? Awesome. Or if you’d rather work from home because you can focus better. Do it. We’ve proven we can do hybrid for the last 2 years. Let’s be real, the main driver for requiring you to go back isn’t collaboration—it’s your company’s office lease and pressure from the holding company overlords.
Love going in 2-3 times a week. The perfect balance for me.

If my team fully returns, sure. Else what's the point?
I started my job remotely and don't feel compelled to return after going in twice.
If I had been in the office before, I'd probably want to return more.
My job wants me to move back to NY for one time in office 🙄 FOH
So many people have moved out of NY. What I didn’t understand then was did you think the day would never come where you’ve gotta go back?
Happy to work from office if the work life balance exists and the commute isn't a raging bitch. The latter was 10 minutes by bus at my job in Singapore, now its - in theory because I WFH 100% - 90 minutes in Karachi.
I’ve been partially back in the office (company mandate) for about a month now and it’s aggressively okay. I sit next to someone I enjoy talking to and I don’t mind the catered lunches.
But it’s an open office, so it’s loud (had to bring in noise cancelling headphones); I haven’t been provided a monitor or a mouse yet (kind of rough as an AD, and even the intern who hasn’t been in the office yet has a monitor 🥴); and the people I interact with the most are still remote, so it doesn’t matter either way. I’d be more productive at home.
yes
I’m very Covid-cautious, so I’m not ready yet - but I desperately want a hybrid schedule.
Never been bothered by it. Don't want the hassle of travelling anyways, traffic!? pffft! Parking? Pffft! Seriously man, it'll take getting used to.
Not particularly looking forward to in office. I don't remember the having that energy people think it did, at least the office I'm in. It's always heads down looking busy with awkward small talk and force fun sprinkled in.
At my previous role, I went back in the office full time in July ‘20. Now I’m fully remote in my current position. I feel like I’m doing this backwards in a way. 😅 I’m happier now with WFH.
Office is open but optional, and I was going 1-2 days a week until a few people came down w Covid. I’m feeling kind of disconnected and under stimulated at home. But it’s kind of hard to get things done at the office when people are there, and pointless being there when it’s empty. Idk what I want to be honest, but I don’t love whatever this is?
