Currently accepted an internship at a firm for the winter and also just accepted a separate internship over the summer with a B4 firm. Should I inform the other firm that I already accepted a later internship with a B4 firm or keep it to myself until the internship is over? They are totally different positions and I wanted to have some experience with both but worry they will take it wrong.

Can/should I represent myself (or in other words do not hire a buyer’s agent) when buying a new construction? Will I get the 3% that would have gone to the buyer’s agent, that i can put towards closing cost? I wouldn’t do this if buying an older property but I can’t think of much that an agent would add value in new construction purchase to justify the 3% cost. Thoughts/suggestions/guidance? One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.
