If not equity stocks, can we trade in commodity exchange? Or maybe Forex exchange? Or Cryptos? Just want to know the boundaries of trading & investment and work accordingly! I think it’s still absolutely one of the best shops to be at even if it’s far from it’s heights. But, it used to get away with underpaying and overworking and it can’t anymore because there are more conservative large clients then before. Hence, people looking for greener pastures (although I’d argue few exist).
Agreed. There’s been a larger departure of people over the past few months than I’ve seen in previous years. The culture definitely evolved and once the majority of the employees who were here during the early days left, and the agency growing to its size, it shifted the culture and feels like any other big agency.
The people aren’t special and the work isn’t either...
Not defending. But there was a time where creatives were cool with it because of the work they got to do. That dynamic has changed.
Just be clear DD has already cashed out.
Heard rumor from...?
Highly doubt DD is cashing out in a time of flux. He will someday, but not anytime in near future.
DD still is deeply involved and fights for the work. It’s big and has more conservative clients, but you feel like you’re internally on the same team fighting for the same thing
@Droga5 overworked and underpaid is an interesting combination to defend, then again who am I to judge as a designer who dreams of working at Pentagram 😂
David is still heavily involved with the work and present around the agency. The rumor is something I saw on here a few weeks ago from someone who’s not even a drogan 🙄
Just out of curiosity, are you sure it isn’t “Drogarian? Was there a company meeting about this: Drogan -vs- Drogarian? Personally I think that calling yourselves “Drogarians” is way cooler since it sounds like something out of GOT.
They’ve had a few rounds of layoffs. Their CCO was canned a couple of months ago for harassment
@droga5 — I heard a rumor that DD might be wisely cashing in and getting out (or at least stepping back). Any truth to this?
