Hello, I’m about 3 and a half years as a clinical data manager. Does anyone have any advice in how I can progress my career?

Planning to take the CIPP and CIPM. Will be doing self-study. What is the “book” everyone refers to for studying? Is it just the “study guide” the IAPP sells? Does anyone know if the study guides and sample questions you can buy on amazon are sufficient to use for passing? Appreciate any and all advice.

I have recently been offered a position where in System Title is not upto my desired expectation, but, the HR mentioned that I can have the desired designation as External Title.

I am possibly going into a cyber security role where I would be leading internal and external content. Thing is, my career has mainly been in fashion which I am trying to move away from, to get into the tech space. This is a great opportunity that will definitely teach me a lot and help get me further into tech. Problem: I’m scared. I’m scared I won’t enjoy it, scared I’ll be bored!!!, scared I’ll fail, scared I’d be making a mistake. Any advice? Has anyone pivoted like this? I want to be open.

Compensation is more or less equivalent (~300-350k range with Pharma heavy on cash, FAANG heavy on RSUs). After BCA + MBA I was always looking for functional roles like Pre-sales, Busiess analyst, etc. But now I'm completely in sales with 3 yrs of experience.
Also I have seen that some people have switched from Sales into BA, Pre sales, Product management, etc.

My current CTC is 4.2 lpa and even a fresher earns more than 6+ lpa.

ADHD medication with high Blood Pressure?

I found ADHD meds helpful when I worked in consulting in my 20s. I stopped the meds when I went back to school. Also have had High BP since late 20s. 15 years away, I am back in consulting and loving it, however my difficulties juggling so many projects/tasks is holding me back. I know I would benifit from some ADHD medication but my Dr won’t prescribe any with my history of BP (controlled with BP meds). Anyone else gone through this? Any tips?
