What should my requested salary be for a Senior Intelligence Analyst position with CrowdStrike ? I have a bachelors degree and 5 years of experience as an intelligence analyst. Current salary is 56k in NC, but when I was in DC I was making 86k (big locality change)… which makes me confused on what I should expect for a remote job.

You leave to go to another agency if you want a better salary
Agencies stopped believing in growth about 10-15 years ago. Now they see you as a replaceable cog. They don’t particularly want you to advance. They make he most money off you the longer you stay at your current role once you get good at it. The entire retainer and staffing plan system means you are good to them if they can staff you a level up from where you are paid. And nobody in a staffing plan meeting ever thinks a senior project manager is any better than a junior one. Ever.
We assure cost of living increases every year, and performance bumps on top, if merited. We're small, so growth is by getting certifications, deepening skills and delivering consistently for clients and if they stay on for more work.
Denver :)
why do you care about your title? as a PM: do good work. be smart, nice, and firm with your team. plan well. and communicate your wins to your manager in your one on ones, and openly discuss your personal financial goals and see what the company can do to meet them. if they aren't able to help you, it's all good. not every company can do what you want based on their structure. then, as a PM and by trade knowing how to wear multiple hats, you should be competent enough to do research and see what other companies you can go to that will pay you closer to your goals. it also matters how long you've been at your company. unless it's unbearable, I wouldn't recommend jumping ship until youve proven to yourself that you have done the absolute best that you can in your current role--and if you havent and cant honestly look at yourself and say that, then you truly dont even deserve a raise. also, keep in mind, project management, and 95% of agency jobs wont make you the big bucks. at the very best you'll cap out at 140k (give or take). real money and freedom is in other industries...like real estate. agency life is a dead end for everyone 9-5 (and worse at most agencies). no one looks back on their life and says their proudest moments were making a killer project plan. damn. long rant. hope it helps.
