Wow someone that actually got a DoorDash offer!!!! 🦄
DoorDash. I heard many horrible things about Amazon’s corporate culture

Amazon for the brand unless you already got enough stamps
I can speak to DoorDash:
Upside - expect interesting work and an awesome culture. People that work here are incredibly passionate about the company which creates a lot of excitement
Downside - WLB isn’t all that improved from consulting (although may be team dependent).
Hmm idk, I’m not the right person for that question.
I accepted DoorDash because it was an opportunity to join a $50b company that at the time had less than 3k employees. I was told I can make a real impact from day 1 and that was no exaggeration. DD is still small enough and gives employees a lot of autonomy, so maybe the brand isn’t up to Amazon levels, but the opportunity to make an impactful difference is greater. In my opinion, I think that will be the difference maker in my career more so than brand name
Do you know what team you’d be on at Amazon? The “Amazon culture is terrible” is not at all universal (unless you’re in a fulfillment center)
Subtly ask the HM or think about what the folks you talked to said during your interview loop (except the bar raiser who should be from another team)
