You will sit and ask people how they do their job, then map it in Visio. Then design a better way to do it. You will hand this off to the client. They will likely not implement.
They architect business processes
Because everyone is a teenage boy. I am not sure OP, I thought it was someone who maps process and develops solutions for improvement. Like mapping TSA but that is just my guess.
EY2 describing the last two years of my career, I'm now depressed
Sounds like togaf to me
I don't get what's so hard about just answering the question lol why do we always have to race for the first witty comment
A2 do you like your current role or are you miserable and trying to leave?
EY2 thank you for the feedback
Yeah no problem. It can also be used in order to do due diligence for major IT implementations. Management typically has no idea how things are actually done so it's a precursor to gathering requirements that can help when selecting vendors or showing vendors what you really need. Honestly, it's not too complicated of work, you get to interview and meet people (lower level though) and as long as you get them to like you and give no hint that it could destroy their job, it can go quite well.
EY2 I see, did you like the role or were you miserable? How long were you in the role for?
