Does mindtree asking employees to return to office for all the days in a week after July end??

I recently joined Swiss Re at 30lpa, pretty good manager and work culture. Got a hike of 10% in 3 months without me asking for it. But got an offer from another company which I was interviewing for before joining here and they are offering a base of 45lpa. Now I am unsure how I convey this to my manager coz I want to stay here but at the same time I am salivating over this new offer and wish I get similar numbers here. Is it worth raising a discussion? If yes what would be a subtle way to do so?

I’ve been at my company for 8 months. I just found out another designer who has been here for several years gets an annual bonus at the end of the fiscal year. When calculating YOE, if you are working 2 jobs, can you double count those years? For reference, I’ve been an Army Reserves officer for the last 5 years since coming off active duty, and spend about 30-40 hours per month (outside of 2-4 week annual training) on that job. So it’s not like driving Uber, it’s a high stress/very involved job. Technically I have 7 years Active Army + 5 years D + 5 Years reserves if I count them. Don’t know if there’s any practical reason just curious peoples opinion

Can any PPMDs chime in on the comp statements? For the most these are terrible increases. Do you guys & gals agree with what the firm giving your main resources? I don’t understand how it makes sense to have people leave and you pay the incoming people more, as well as, spend more time and money in training them. Just trying to understand the rationale. Wouldnt it make more sense to keep your people happy?

Looking to improve general communication skills (especially around structuring narrative/ key messages), any books/courses that you would recommend?

Relatively new in Big4 M&A advisory doing mostly integration work with some pre deal DD mixed in. I recently heard L.E.K. Consulting places well in MM PE but don't know much about them otherwise. Was interested if anyone had insight into whether a jump to their M&A or PE groups would be possible. In terms of background, I have an undergrad business degree from a T20 school and graduated a T14 law school as well.

What are expected utilisation rates for entry level consultants? Been here 9 months and only done billable work for about 3 months of that. Bored out of my mind for the majority of my time here.
