We do all kinds of things. Forensic accounting, damages, valuations, fraud investigations, cyber risk, international arbitration, AML, mass torts, construction damages,
Don’t think anyone is really working on insurance claims. Atleast not that I’ve heard of.
Would you know if the D&I group has any people that have come from the insurance claims segment? Or would the preference be to have other forensic accounting experience?
A&M2 more or less summed it up. I’d also add economic consulting, bankruptcy and general litigation support, intellectual property consulting, real estate & environmental disputes, class actions, reps & warranties, FCPA and various other corporate investigations, monitorships, business intelligence, eDiscovery, data analytics, and forensic technology to the equation.
Never heard of anyone doing insurance claims other than maybe as one-off favors to clients perhaps
The firm is involved all kinds of investigations that wind up in front of DOJ, SEC, and CFTC. That includes fcpa, false financial statements, market manipulation, and good old fashioned fraud. We don’t do insurance claims work in our investigations practice.
