Hi Fish. Recently moved in-house to a newly public tech company. People are great, but the team is really understaffed. No paralegal or assistant- we are doing everything ourselves. Is this normal for in-house? Have been working close to big law hours in addition to doing all basic admin for the group. Seriously considering a return to biglaw. Am I being crazy?

All these corporate layoff has my anxiety at peak level. I understand they’re mainly in tech right now but just the thought of a recession sends me into a panic for my job. I’ve never been through a downtown in house. It almost makes me miss the security of the billable hour as a value proxy.
