Hello! I recently applied for a Travel Procurement Senior Manager role at PwC (role is in NYC and I’m not NYC-based but I believe certain roles can be primarily remote). I have 5+ years of experience in this field and the description/company culture seem like a perfect match to what I’m looking for. Are there any fish from PwC and/or their talent acquisition team that can provide a reference post-submission and insight on the hiring process? Thanks!!

I work in our P&C practice, but know a few pension actuaries! They do a mix of valuation/audit and other consulting projects (benefits, etc.). They are less busy than p&c actuaries. Main offices are Minneapolis, Detroit, Chicago and New York.
Audit busy season Jan & Feb is minimum 50 hour weeks. In actuality may be more depending upon level and how many others at each level. Overall decent WLB. Culture is trickier and depends which office. Also lots of coworkers in India.
Feel free to DM if you have any questions! And happy to submit a referral if you’d like!
Are you guys WFH?
Yes, we are work from home - you only travel / come into the office if you want to.
Yes, but some locations do have a lot of people that go in voluntarily so depends where you are at as to whether you would feel a push to do so. But technically no requirement now or forthcoming to go in and certainly some that don’t even live near an office.
