Any suggestions or recommendations on good, long-term strategies (and/or things I should absolutely be doing) for people not familiar with having a tiny cushion of wealth? Also open to “you should hire a financial advisor, etc..”

Was just on a call with my mother who claimed someone helped her bought an investment target that has high consistent return (>25%) without loss to principal and low risk. Is this possible?
