I travel with my team rather than just my executive. He’s very self sufficient so I don’t have to worry about him so much. I just make sure that I’m organized for myself and my team. I do have a tendency to go ahead by one day though. I like to get settled and make sure everything is prepped ahead of time.
Thanks for sharing.
I travel with my 2 executives who are pretty independent. I don't attend every meeting they have but I do attend conferences and trade shows they have. I don't feel like I do anything out of the ordinary but I do make sure I'm prepared with items. I'm a female who is always over prepared and they're both males who think about what they need for 1 part of the day. So I bring extra paper and pens as well as snacks (days can be long), phone chargers (both wall and portable), and a small extension cord. When traveling internationally I have a spare converter with me at all times as well. Outside of what I bring, I take so many pictures and make so many random notes. Any time they compliment a stand at a conference, I take pictures. If they like a piece of marketing materials, I save it or take a picture. 99% of the time they refer back to it at a later point in time so it's nice to be able to pull up a picture.
Have confidence in what you do and what you know about them, and bring that with you!
Thank you!

I have for conferences. I do support more than one exec, so I can't be with them full time. Usually when they are in business meetings, I'm nearby getting my other work done. I will often go the day before if I need to be a part of making sure event or meeting space rooms need to be properly set up. This is usually when my exec is a key speaker. If they are just an attendee, I will go the same day but make sure I arrive a few hours earlier. I'm always coming prepared with a travel bag of things like tylenol/excedrin, bandaid, shout to go wipes, and things of that sort.
Speak with your executive and find out what he/she prefers.
Thanks, I always like to approach with a few options and not just ask what they want. The reason for my crowd sourcing
