Any fish transitioned from marketing consulting? What is your path?

Hi sales engineers, I’m currently a cloud security engineer with a cybersecurity background. I am pretty recent graduate and am passionate about sales engineering but have struggled to get my foot in the door in this field. Seems like every job out there is like 5+ years experience. Any advice for how to get in this field with little experience?

YoE 12.5, cctc 10.5 and holding offers till 23.5 fixed and few more in pipeline, expecting till 27 with 40 days left in np. How much can I ask for a senior manager level in PWC AC Bangalore and how difficult is the work and transition from pure technical to managerial role? I am still bit reluctant to leave tech side, is it good in long run?

I am having 2.5 years experience in the IT sector on vision plus as a software engineer (before joining the bank). It's sad to see people with 2-3 years of experience getting paid more than you when u have double the experience. 😄 Best part is they are still complaining of getting less. Well I guess you should never settle. New gen is giving a hard time to the experienced folks. I think this is the high time to upgrade your skills. Come out of your comfort zone and start looking for new opportunities. I think this is the best time to switch if u haven't already in quite some time.

For those that have been in awhile and looking closely at retirement. Are you switching careers or if you did how did it go? What advice would you give someone four years out from retirement?

I spent a year in tax investigations where I believe I was thriving ( I was going to be an assistant manager in July 2023), I had a lot of assistant manager jobs, I even drafted a Code 9 report to HMRC which my manager said was 80% of an actual report, he then added the 20% and submitted it.
After I realised I couldn't maintain all the unpaid overtime I was working I decided to take a turn and go to compliance, so now I work in CT compliance. I feel very surpressed.

I have 2.5 years experience in sap basis but I want to switch my career in other company along with sap hana or sap abap technologies.
