How do you feel about splitting everything 50-50 with your partner? I don’t feel as rigid about it bc I feel it balances out one way or another, but my partner feels as if he owes me if we don’t split 50-50 and I pay more. I get where he’s coming from but 50-50 just feels transactional and not intimate.

My manager at the beginning of every single week: Let’s make this week a “sprint week”. 50 hours with the goal of accomplishing [insert tasks that will take 75-80 hours to complete]. If we do this now it will lighten our load for busy season (hint: it won’t).

Does anyone know why managers call themselves “Executives”? In my mind, I only consider Senior Managers and up an Executive. Just curious if anyone else thinks it’s a little bit of a stretch.
