My favorite cruise line for Alaska is Holland America Line. I've been on several of their cruises and they offer an amazing experience with great food and activities. Their service is top notch and their staff is very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend them for an amazing Alaska cruise.
Disney by far has the best customer service, the cruise line is so clean, and they go above and beyond for the guests. I have sailed other cruise lines and they do not compare to Disney so far in cleanliness and customer service.
Nothing quite beats Royal Carribean cruises. They have the best looking ships.
Have only been on carnival only however will need to be family friendly with kids❤️
These look incredible and they have some great deals for kids right now too -- first kid 50% off, second free! https://www.expeditions.com/book?destination=12&destinations.name=Alaska
You're welcome!! :)
The Silver Muse by the Holland America Lines. Love their spacious cabins. I like their food too including their service crews. I should say one of the best.
We had a fantastic time on a Princess cruise to Alaska. Princess and HAL enjoy exclusive access to Glacier Bay, which was a highlight of our trip.
I've only cruised Alaska on Celebrity, and it's my favored line for the type of Alaska cruising you do. We had been pretty active in port, so it was good to return to a relaxed ship with gourmet cuisine and quiet, high-end bars and lounges to truly unwind, decompress, and prepare for the following early morning.
Holland America has the most direct access to Glacier Bay. They also have the most route options. Take note of HAL's elderly target market. They also have some of the greatest costs because they forego the outdoor theaters, water slides, and go karts.
Princess is my choice. They've been offering Alaskan cruises for more than 50 years. They conduct an excellent job. Onboard, there are several kid-friendly Alaskan-themed activities. The Grand Princess includes an indoor pool, so the kids can swim even if it's cold outside.
Celebrity cruises provide excellent service, and I believe they have the greatest COVID protocols. Despite the fact that it is largely for adults, they provide an excellent camp at sea program as well as many other great family events. Also, fewer children means more leisure and less children racing around every step you take.
I don't have any children so that works for me. I never thought about Celebrity. Would you say it's more affordable in comparison to other cruises
We went on a Princess cruise up to Alaska, and loved it. Princess and HAL have the rights to head up Glacier Bay, which was the highlight of our cruise.
There was a great mix of passengers from young to old, with no lack of things to do on board. I would not hesitate to recommend Princess for an Alaskan cruise.
I would agree with this on Princess. I took this cruise a couple time and it was a nice crowd. Everyone was so welcoming
I’ve only cruised Alaska on Celebrity, and it would be my preferred line for the style of cruising you do for Alaska. We were very active in port, so it was nice to come back to a chill ship with great food and quiet, high-end bars and lounges to really relax, decompress and prepare for the next early morning.
I don’t need rock climbing walls or go-karts — Alaska and the ports are the real attractions.
Holland America as they have the most access to Glacier Bay. They also have the most itinerary variations. Note HAL for have an older target market. I found they have one of the best prices too as they skip the outdoor theatres, water slides and go karts.
Holland America I think is as good as it gets
