Valued at $144K over 4y using today's stock price of $120 = $36K/y
- Signing bonus of ~$10K (TBD)
- Relocation payout of ~$10K (TBD)

Hello fishes, I joined IBM on 16th Aug 2021 as a Data Scientist and was offered 1L joining bonus. Will I have to pay back the joining bonus if I leave IBM on 16th Aug 2022 , i.e , after completing 1 year ?

How do you deal with counter offers? I have an offer to join a larger tech company in a more senior role, with bonus and RSUs that my current start up can’t match. But my current company want me to stay. They offered an increased base salary which is still below the new offer and I went back and said no, so they might increase. AITA? It’s become a pet peeve of mine when I’m looking at resumes where a PM says that they managed a team of X devs and QA. Unless those people report to you, you didn’t manage them. It’s fair to say you led a scrum team or a cross functional team, etc. I don’t see it often, but just enough that I wonder if it’s fair to me to start pushing back to recruiters about accuracy on resumes they send to me.

1st year. I have a decent amount of client email/phone interaction. One partner frequently asks me to communicate with clients, and the partner tells me to ask if I have any questions before emailing the client.

I almost always respond to the partner with my thoughts and ask partner whether P agrees with my thoughts, prior to emailing client. At what point should I be skipping that step and just email client? I’m worried about making a mistake, but most of the time P agrees with my “draft”
