I've been at this for 4 months now so I have a lot of thoughts. I think it’s totally normal to feel nervous! Just remember to prep by researching the company and role (speak to key company values in your answers). Practice answering common questions, and don’t be afraid to ask about the team or projects you’d work on. Also, stay calm and remember that you're interviewing them too: it's a two-way conversation, and they’re interested in what you bring to the table so don't try to be too cookie cutter!
Someone once advised me that one purpose of an interview is for people to get an idea of how you think. So don't be afraid to demonstrate your thinking in operation. It's good to have answers at the ready. But if you're asked something that doesn't have a ready answer, don't be afraid to formulate an answer on the fly while explaining your thought process.
You should start thinking about questions you're going to ask them. You're interviewing them too. I find that I get much less nervous when I focus on my curiosity instead of my fear. So let go of your want for the job, and realize you will be fine either way. Then focus on your curiosity. Things like who will you be reporting to, what are they like? How does the company handle teams?
Don't be nervous. Be yourself. Always look the interviewer(s) in the eyes. If you do not know something, do NOT lie about it and just say "I am not sure on that, but I am willing to learn" . Remember that you will be part of a team. When they ask you to tell them about yourself..always talk about your career path...not your personal life..
