Anyone recently received a tax manager offer from EY ? I’m going through final interviews and want to see what your experience was like (negotiation process, initial offer higher/lower than expected?, did you give them a salary expectation range? How long did it take from final interview to offer etc) TIA!PwC EY KPMG Deloitte

Just be ambiguous and say you would be ok with “market salary” and not give a specific number. You will be pleasantly surprised.
Don’t do this. If you say that, the hr manager will put you at the very bottom of the range. I know tax manager base at pwc in nyc is around 125k. If you are a new manager is would ask for 130k. If you have a couple of years of experience as a manger I would probably ask for 150k or 160k depending on experience.
I’m at KPMG NYC but perhaps this would help. I’m a second year tax manager and my base is $140k. Compared to “market”, this is probably a bit low due to the smaller salary adjustments during the pandemic.
