Hi Folks,
I have got an offer from Luxoft and they have kept a probation of 3 months. Can someone please let me know do they have a probation for all employees.
Also my designation in my current organization is Deputy Manager and they have give me Sr. Consultant not very happy with the designation.

Sounds like PMO with a twist on the name
My projects have varied. All of my clients have been in the Fortune 500 top 50, most in the Fortune 10. My projects have ranged from very strategic to big system implementations. Engagements have ranged from 2 months to 2 years, and from 5 people to 100+. Some have been fairly easy, others have been brutal. Like anything in consulting, I don’t have a day-to-day ... but that’s why I joined consulting.
The culture is mixed, but positive overall There’s enough solid people that you can find a good network and align yourself to people you want to work with/for. Like any practice, though, I’ve met a handful of people I won’t work with again. Either not good to work with or not quite competent. By and large, though, people do like the culture/people in our practice.
Finally, we do have a solid pipeline. And we’ve had a very small bench for a couple years now.
Things I don’t like - no bench time to recover from travel or get a break between projects. Not a lot of flexibility or work life balance support. I also think we’re losing our people focus a bit ... we’re hiring a lot and need to maintain our culture and ensure our people are recognized for their hard work. I think burn out is an issue.
Note - these are just my experiences. I know there are others from my practice on here, so hopefully some will chime in.

It’s straight up PMO. Run far far away if that’s not what you want. From what I’ve seen, good people in the practice
No. It’s a specific pillar within the tech and transformation practice

There’s no strategy work. Pure execution
What about Portfolio Management? It's one of TTS' other pillars alongside Complex Program Mgmt. Does that have any strategy work involved at all?
I’m tracking the three pillars are CPM, Agile, and Tech Integration. Portfolio mgmt is under CPM
I’m in the CPM practice. We’re not part of TTS. Along with PPM (portfolio management) we make up the Program Management practice. Yes, CPM is largely PMO and execution. What else would you like to know?
EY 4 - would like to know what your day to day is like, kind of work you do, what the culture in the practice is like, if there is a promising pipeline (that you know of), and if there is anything you don’t like about it
