That depends on a lot of variables, the first of which is navigation. [i.e. do you have anchor points throughout the pages that help navigate them to sections they are actually looking for, etc., do you have a 'back to top' or 'back to last section' type button to direct them around]
From a UX perspective it sounds terrible and you may get quite high drop offs. HOWEVER, the Creative Director 1 comment is spot on. Anchors to take the user to the right section and back to top button can save you tons.
Ask your data team how well it is converting. They will have lots to talk about and facts to match.
Also consider the intention of the page. If it’s conversion focused, putting any CTAs that far down aren’t going to be successful. If it’s an educational type page, you might get users to scroll farther but 4-5 pages seems a little outrageous imho.
What do you mean by "how well" they work? What metric are you wondering about?
