What is the culture like, type of work and reputation of Capco in the Data & Analytics space?
I have some good ex colleagues who moved over there and also looked up on LinkedIn and see lots of seemingly smart and accomplished people in their D&A team in the UK.
I'll ask my ex colleagues too, but wanted to see if people here have any opinion or information on this too.
TIA

Kids get smart by talking to adults - spend time, engage and talk with them - no need to goo-goo-ga-ga etc. And books, many many books from day 1.
Keep them away from all TV/screens, just books, read to them continually, and audiobooks. Don’t prioritise extra tuition after school, focus on disciplines like Piano, Rowing, Board Games/Chess.

Give them time and space to do what they like (within bounds and off screens), play outdoors, explore, gain independence. Expose them to a variety of activities without insisting they stick to what you or they chose at the age of 5. If you always manage their time, they won’t get a chance to find out who they are and what they like to do. Once they achieve that and have found their motivation, knowledge and skills ca be acquired quickly

Check books by Rudolf Steiner, founder/inspiration of the Waldorf Education system: he treats childhood as a magical time and children as whole humans. We learn and grow in 7-year cycles (pretty close to 7 years).
First 1-7, our brain waves are like an adult under hypnosis, so children really do 'absorb' when they have no words to use and this is our first experience of emotions... let them pass.
7-14 we sharpen our mental approach to the world, logic and reasoning are now available, if new.
14-21 we experience complex emotions and brains are re-wired to accommodate the multiple-layered thinking needed to understand and reconcile mental and emotional.
21-28 is another round of deeper logic: how do we fit into our world? building our life, education, planning careers and training
28-35 brings us a deeper emotional connection to our community: building families, becoming parents, neighbors. We reach out to the world and form emotional connections in a broader sense.
35-42 is another foray into logic: children are growing more independent, adults are planning retirement, building assets, growing what matters most to them.
42-49 gives us the opportunity to feel deeper connection to our children (graduating, building their own lives, in some cases their own families), communities and the world. We feel an urge to 'give back' or 'make a difference' in a more profound way, we want to 'leave a legacy'
etc...
Allow your child the freedom to be their own person while teaching them how to maintain their health, mental and emotional stability (as age appropriate) and community.
