Anyone hearing noise about layoffs?
Hi fishes,
Any guess how many people are laid off from Publicis sapient in past few days? Really scared for my future as I'm also under probation period and deeply regret for my choice of joining this firm...I don't understand why were they recruiting peeps when they were short of projects. Publicis Sapient

Hello, I applied for a Transaction Manager role and had my first interview last week, but I haven't heard back since. The job posting isn't up anymore. Is this a good or bad sign? Also, do you know when I should expect to hear back?
Same here. Hundreds of people got laid off in my department. Got moved to a different department and it's only a temporary assignment for a few more months. I've applied to over 100 jobs in 1 month, but not losing hope. Keep pushing and good luck.
Ghosting is the new norm, so be surprised when you do hear from them, and not vice-versa. Indeed sent me an email that automatic relies are no longer available to employers that posts jobs, so that might be another reason, other than just disrespect for potential employers. Hope my advice I gave Vice-President can help you, too.
if you don't have a LinkedIn account, do so as many companies use it themselves. Make for the basic membership, and use Indeed.com to help look for a job. Better yet be honest in want you want (I know your anxious, but but be real with what you want to be paid, where to work, what job titles that you will meet most or almost all of the requirements), and if you're missing of some of the skills, LinkedIn has courses that might bridge the gap, add skills to your profile, and download and print a certificate to aide in getting you in. If you have Microsoft Word 365, it has an Editor feature that will have make an excellent resume. I will never say 'perfect' as you nor I can read minds, or know what one is really thinking. Just make sure all of your information is exactly the same, as you don't want the resume you're handing over to say one thing, the profile and online accounts say something else. Because the holidays are near, start saving for Thanksgiving and Christmas meals that you can finish up in two days time, in other words no large hams /birds and non-perishables. Payoff all loans, and try to get ahead with the utilities and mortgages, too. You can focus the gift-giving on your spouse and children, but on a budget. Better yet, church thrift stores often have nice things to give, and at least you can feel good that you can do something nice for the holidays, since you got them now, and saved money in the process. Let the family know now, if they haven't figured out why you're anxious (involve the kids too, and get advice from their pediatrician and school counselors on how to break it to them, and what you can expect in the days ahead of how they will behave/react/break down at times). Good Luck!
