Hello fishes. Need your suggestions. I have worked at Accenture for 2 yrs as a software developer and due to interest in core side, took training in Rv-Vlsi and placed in capgemini as PHYSICAL DESIGN ENGINEER . And it's been 9 months, I didn't get any project. I am much frustrated as I am wasting my imp time. I'm regretting now of leaving Accenture :( Can you give me suggestions on what to learn in this free time? Intel Corporation Qualcomm MediaTek Synopsys Inc. Advanced Micro Devices Inc.
So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

Yes, twice. Once for basically highlighting his incompetence and the other for discovering that he had doctored documents.
To clarify, this was not through me personally reporting anything to HR
Chief
Once, early in my career.
Long story short, misandrist client who harassed me almost daily during a ~1.5 year implementation. My female VP at the time effectively shrugged it off, but when she was replaced for unrelated reasons, the replacement male VP heard about it and within a week escalated it to client HR and said either she went or my company would immediately drop all contracts with them. The client was forced into early retirement a few weeks later.
Is your P aware of this? Good that you have it all documented, but not sure how it looks if you went directly to client HR?
I did. But I almost got fired in the process. Actually, I did get fired, but not right away, they made sure enough time had passed that it didn't look like retaliation. Also my situation was not a sexual harassment situation, although the person did have inappropriate anger outbursts and behavior. In my situation it was more about ethics and reporting controls and they were just steamrolling the team with bs stuff that didn't meet the threshold for reasonable management reliance. I got bullied by everyone, but eventually that guy got fired.

Gotta be honest I applaud your initiative. I would try to align senior people in your firm though.
Not me but saw it happen. The employee was fired for incompetence and for making rude comments towards us and others in the organisation.
