Processing time for cpa license in MA?
Hi Fishes,
I Will be Joining PWC AC B as SA2 on Sept 2,2022. Just want to know about Appraisal cycle. Is it Mid Year or Annual appraisal process. Also, will I be eligible for next appraisal cycle ? Tried asking the same Question to HR, but didn't get a proper response. She just mentioned as per company policy.

Quit. Worst case you can come back to your firm in a few months or years - you'll be refreshed and you'll have a new perspective.
Most people I know who have done this never come back and seem much happier...
I like how people are like "this isn't the forum to ask for help on career advice". Really? Last I checked it sure as hell was. Hang In there OP. Connect with recruiters on linked in. Join Sparehire.com for freelance consulting gigs, defiantly quit or leave or try to at least get on an internal project while you look for other work. Uncle D is crushing. I left over a year ago and only now am I beginning to get back my own sense of self worth and value.
I'm really having a hard time @d4 so stfu and don't be a prick
People like you are why this firm sucks
I m in same boat. I don't know what other jobs I will like
Professional job I've ever had but now I feel like I've stuck in it so long there are no other opportunities and idk what else I would do.
People at Accenture are nicer than the above. Just saying.
Same. My last day next Friday. No job is worth compromising your health. Take care of yourself OP.
What doesn't kill you make you stronger ...this job varies by projects. I have seen lucky ppl on easy 9-5 projects with laid back client for months (probably easier from industry ) , so it's all depend on your engagement. Oversold engagement w/o good team experience and strong leadership, can make your life hell.
Sounds like you have a skill set that would be incredible useful / valuable at firms that would not chew you up and spit you out. I'd look into tech companies or industry jobs where coders call the shots.
Thought FB was a place to uplift people and connect on common ground not tear people down.
Why is it breaking you specifically?
@associate1 where are you going? I have been with the firm five years I am just in such a deep technology position (which I am not cut out for) idk what other skills i can use to pursue other jobs. I am being compared to a skill set that has 10+ years of experience at my level and expected to be better at coding and configuring in order to maintain a good rating/get staffed. I don't work with anyone my age or background so it's hard to relate to coworkers. Sit in hotel room alone most nights and take sleeping pills to go to bed or else I'll be up all night thinking. I'm an overachiever so I don't want to seem like I'm failing and try to think of positive (big 4, get to travel) but I am really struggling internally. Doesn't help coming from a family who has struggled with money that my parents don't support me trying to pursue other opportunities bc my job is "stable."
I'm clinically diagnosed with depression and you think it's a joke to troll on? You don't know what I've been through or what I'm going through personally and professionally so literally screw off
OP hang in there. Take care of yourself because in the end this is just a job. It sounds that like things are pretty rough so at least take all your PTO and just go somewhere and unplug and refresh
OP, ignore D4. This job is hard and comes with real life challenges. It is no sign of failure that you are feeling the impact of stress, travel, and lack of connection to colleagues. I suggest that you take some PTO to do whatever relaxes you, talk to people you trust, consider counseling, and hit the job search hard the moment you decide this job isn't for you. Good luck, you'll get through it
OP, call the Live Well program at 800 221 3222. You will most likely qualify for up to five sessions with a clinician at no cost to you.
Actually I find the Deloitte Internal project is much worse than client projects. Somehow it's the micromanager that makes the place really bad. I find my clients way more reaosnable and easy to get along
Really ask yourself if this job is worth it over your mental and physical health and happiness.
Start looking agvressively for other options. It will give you hope!
