Anybody find opportunities to do more work for your consulting firm and get paid more for it? Like doing a contract part-time enterprise role, niche Business Development gig, etc. on top of your consulting job? Need extra $50k-$100k and would prefer to get that through current employer rather than a side hustle. Any experience doing this?

Does anyone work in Dubai or Singapore who can give me an idea what you get paid? Thinking of making the move from Norway. Lower/no personal income tax is the incentive - paying 47% 😭

AWS vs Cloudflare BDR roles

AWS lowballed but I negotiated to match Cloudflare. Cloudflare offers more equity but AWS has a higher base.

I love Cloudflare. The people are great but it’s an engineering culture and the sales team isn’t as well shaped up and I can’t go for a promotion until at least 18 months of tenure. I am an investor in the company and think of them super highly. I’ve already got half a years SDR experience and AWS promotes quicker.

AWS has prestige but is it worth it?
