Anybody here ever interview at Google? What's the timeline been like?
I started my process in mid-April and made it through onsites plus a meeting with the HM in May. That was about 4 weeks ago and my recruiter has not responded to my emails asking for an update.
Is this a "no news is good news" situation or should I assume a rejection?

After 10 rounds of interviews for a TPM position the recruiter says he will set me up for team alignment, and then take it to HC for a decision. Is this the normal process? Isnt HC decision done first

Covid has been hard. March 2029- December 2020 I drank a lot to cope without realizing it. January- March I didn't realize I was depressed. March I came to terms with increase and ongoing suicidal ideation and needed help.

I went into a intensive outpatient program (IOP) which has been super helpful.

During the beginning of covid I drank every day and in a great deal. January it was a "dry" month which was hard the first week but overall great.

March 2021 realized I'm clinically depressed.

If I could go back again, I wouldn’t have sex. I’d wait. “Someone special” is cliche, but nothing I’ve had was meaningful. Fun, sure, but not meaningful.

I own a 1973 Chevy nova and and a 1988 Dodge ramcharger. Eventually I want to put a 6.6L duramax in the nova, and make it into a sleeper/fun weekend car, restomod the interior for comfort, convenience and tech etc. Then I want to put a Cummins in the Ramcharger and make it into kind of an overland/back country truck that I can still take down the road to get to the back country. There’s also an equity component: 0.15% of current fully diluted equity. This equates to about 30000 shares at a strike price of $2. They also indicate the preferred stock price is $6 and preferred stock equity is $188k (whatever that means). They are in the middle of a new financing and valuation round.

I’m in big law and on the cusp of making the jump to in-house. It sounds like the company I just interviewed with is getting ready to make me an offer. It’s definitely going to be a pay cut coming from big law but I do get some nice equity in the company. Is the jump worth it? I’m so burnt out by big law and this seems like an awesome opportunity to help shape a newish company. Any tips on how to figure out if this is the right move for me?
